Norma Hall Dies in Newark Collision on Highway 84 near Newark Boulevard
Newark, California (August 18, 2022) – Norma Hall, 70, of Fremont, was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Tuesday night in Newark.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 9:09 p.m. on Highway 84 just east of the Newark Boulevard on-ramp.
At least two vehicles were involved in the crash, but what led to the collision was not immediately determined.
Alameda County Fire Department firefighters responded to the crash and found Hall with severe injuries.
Despite the efforts of the paramedics to save her life, Hall succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
CHP shut down the middle and right-hand lanes of the highway for an unknown duration following the accident.
No other information about the accident was provided.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
