Nicholas Bianchi Killed in Alameda Car Accident at Cambridge Drive and Fernside Boulevard

Alameda, California (September 10, 2021) – 27-year-old Nicholas Bianchi has been identified as the man who was killed in a car crash in Alameda on Monday night.
The deadly collision happened at about 8 p.m. September 6, at the intersection of Cambridge Drive and Fernside Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Bianchi was driving a car westbound on Fernside Boulevard when he was t-boned by a speeding car that was traveling northbound on Cambridge Drive.
The impact of the collision sent Michael’s car off the roadway where it crashed into the front porch of a home occupied by two men.

The two homeowners were unhurt.
Michael was killed in the accident.
A passenger in the car Nicholas was driving was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
