Multi-Car Accident in Los Angeles Results in Minor Injuries

Los Angeles, California (March 16, 2022) – A Tuesday afternoon multi-vehicle accident on 5 Freeway in Los Angeles’ Arleta neighborhood resulted in minor injuries, as per the California Highway Patrol.

The collision involved four vehicles that collided at about 1:47 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway, near Osborne Street.

Firefighters, paramedics, and Freeway Service Patrol responded to the scene to find a Mazda SUV on its side, a gray Volvo with a broken right-front axel, a yellow pickup truck, and a box truck involved in the crash.

The paramedics evaluated the motorists and treated an unknown number of them who had sustained minor injuries. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.

The lanes Nos. 3, 4, and 5 remained blocked for an unknown period following the collision.

An investigation is ongoing.
