1 Killed in San Diego Motorcycle Crash on Mission Bay Drive near Playa Pacifica Park
San Diego, California (June 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist died after being struck by a car after he fell from a bike in the Mission Bay area of San Diego on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1:15 a.m. June 26, in the 2500 block of East Mission Bay Drive.
A man was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he lost control and fell onto the northbound lanes of the highway.

The unidentified rider was then struck by a passing Toyota Camry.
The motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured skull and a broken back. The rider died at the scene of the accident.
The collision resulted in the temporary closure of roads in the area as the authorities processed the scene.
