1 Killed in San Jose Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near Brokaw Road
San Jose, California (August 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in a collision after he was allegedly cut off by a vehicle on Highway 101 in San Jose on Wednesday evening.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened on Highway 101 near the Brokaw Road off-ramp at about 5 p.m., August 25.
The California Highway Patrol said a 53-year-old man was riding a 2003 Harley-Davidson in the far left lane when a vehicle veered into his lane, cutting him off. The motorcyclist veered to avoid a collision but crashed into the rear of an Infiniti in the second lane.
The impact of the collision ejected the rider who then hit a Toyota Avalon in the third lane before landing on the roadway.

The unidentified man succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
The CHP is yet to locate the driver who cut off the rider.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
