1 Killed in Hesperia Motorcycle Crash at Mesa Street and Ninth Avenue
San Bernardino, California (July 19, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision at an intersection in Hesperia on Sunday morning.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened in the area of Mesa Street and Ninth Avenue at about 11:54 a.m. July 18, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident located a 2015 Jeep Wrangler on its side and a black motorcycle down in the roadway. The CHP said the Jeep had failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and struck the motorcycle.

The rider was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, the CHP said.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The police ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the crash.
The Hesperia Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is handling the investigation.
