Rider Killed in Madera County Motorcycle Accident on Road 12 near Avenue 33 ½.
Madera County, California (September 17, 2022) – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a vehicle in Madera on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 7:15 p.m. on Road 12 near Avenue 33 ½.
A gray Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on Avenue 12 and was trying to pass traffic when it drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with an eastbound Harley Davidson.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
There were two adults and two juveniles inside the car. They sustained injuries ranging from minor to major non-life-threatening injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
