Bakersfield, California (June 28, 2021) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred near Arvin in Kern County on Sunday afternoon, June 27.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the 1:15 p.m. crash happened on State Route 223 near Tower Line Road.

A motorcycle was traveling southbound on Tower Line Road when it allegedly failed to stop at the intersection and collided with an SUV that was traveling eastbound on SR 223.
