1 Injured in Concord Motorcycle Crash on Highway 4 near Port of Chicago Highway
Concord, California (May 20, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car in Concord on Wednesday evening.
The accident happened at about 6 p.m. May 19, on the eastbound lanes of Highway 4 near Port of Chicago Highway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a 2011 Nissan Altima in unclear circumstances.
The paramedics who responded to the incident found the rider who had sustained major injuries in the accident.
The rider was transported to Kaiser Permanente Hospital for treatment.
The condition of the Nissan driver was not immediately disclosed.
The authorities temporarily closed a section of Highway 4 as the scene was examined.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
