Rider Killed after Crashing into Parked Truck at Swift Avenue and 9th Street in Fresno
Fresno, California (March 14, 2022) – A motorcyclist died after colliding into a parked truck Sunday night at an intersection in northeast Fresno, according to Fresno police.
The accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. at Swift Avenue and 9th Street.
Police said the male rider was speeding when he slammed into a parked truck.
The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Emergency crews found him unconscious and rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
At the time of the report, investigators had not established possible factors that may have contributed to the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
