Michael Hunter and Jenny Williams Killed in Los Molinos Car Crash on Highway 99 near Butler Street
Los Molinos, California (August 26, 2021) – The authorities have disclosed the identities of two people who were killed in a head-on collision in Los Molinos on Sunday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened on Highway 99 near Butler Street at about 7:35 p.m. August 22.
59-year-old Michael Hunter, of Hayward, was driving a 2009 Ford Focus northbound on Highway 99 when he drifted into the southbound lane causing a 2019 Isuza driven by 39-year-old Nicholas J. Hall, of Anderson, to swerve off the roadway to avoid a collision.
2 Killed in Highway 99 Head-On Collision near Butler Street in Los Molinos Identified
The Ford Focus then collided head-on with a 2007 Nissan Sentra driven by Jenny Williams, 54, of Oroville, who was traveling behind the Isuzu.
Both Williams and Hunter were killed in the collision.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
