Mary Lee, Xiong Lee, Malisa Moua and Pa Vue Killed in King City Crash at Jolon Road and Mission Road
Monterey County, California (June 13, 2022) – Four Central Valley women were killed in a head-on collision in Jolon, Monterey County, on Monday morning.
The tragic crash happened at around 6:20 a.m. in the area of Jolon and Mission roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials say 45-year-old Mary Lee of Fresno was driving a car and collided head-on with another vehicle driven by 43-year-old Thomas Boots of Hughson.
Mary Lee was extricated from the vehicle and was rushed to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Three passengers in Lee’s vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as 44-year-old Xiong Lee of Fresno, 52-year-old Malisa Moua of Merced, and 36-year-old Pa Vue of Fresno.
Thomas Boots was pulled out of the vehicle before being flown to an area hospital for treatment.
Officials say everyone involved in the collision was wearing seatbelts.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
