Marquis Evans Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 14 in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (March 7, 2022) – 46-year-old Marquis Adrien Evans has been identified by the coroner’s office as the driver who was killed in a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in Bakersfield.
The deadly collision was reported at around 2:20 a.m. on Highway 14 near California City Boulevard at around 2:20 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to overturn and land off the roadway.
Evans, a resident of California City, was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
