Winchester, California (October 16, 2021) – Maria Hernandez, 43, of Hemet, was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Hemet on Friday night.
The fatal collision happened at the intersection of Domenigoni Parkway and Winchester Road at about 9:40 p.m. October 15.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the accident and found a total of three victims with one person trapped inside the wreckage.
The firefighters extricated the trapped person from the vehicle.

Hernandez succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.
Two people were treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
