CHP Investigating Deadly Crash on Interstate 405 in North Hills, Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (February 19, 2022) – A man died in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Saturday morning on a freeway in North Hills, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly accident occurred at about 10:12 a.m. on northbound Interstate 405 at the Nordhoff Street off-ramp.
As per the report, multiple vehicles collided, including a semi-truck, blocking traffic lanes.
Police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and Caltrans responded to the scene.
An unresponsive person from one of the cars was offered CPR at the scene.
The crash left a 50-year-old Hispanic man dead at the scene. A coroner representative was requested to respond.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
