Man Killed in Big Rig Crash on Highway 99 near Faith Home Road in Keyes
Stanislaus County, California (August 13, 2021) – A 54-year-old Sacramento man was killed in a Friday morning car crash near Keyes, according to the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly collision happened at about 3:15 a.m. on Highway 99 near Faith Home Road.
The man was driving a big rig northbound on Highway 99 when he lost control and veered off the roadway where it struck a semi-truck and a Toyota Camry that were parked on the shoulder.
The big rig continued and crashed into an embankment before flipping onto its left side.
The unidentified driver of the big rig was killed in the accident.
Three occupants of the Toyota were unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
