Motorcyclist Killed in Edison Highway Crash near Sterling Road in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (June 16, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car on Edison Highway in Bakersfield on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5 a.m. on Edison Highway near Sterling Road.
A 38-year-old man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Edison Highway when he collided with a Ford SUV that was exiting a driveway.

The motorcyclist was transported to Kern Medical where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
The driver of the Ford was uninjured.
The police established that the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
