Bicyclist Injured in Collision with Pickup Truck on Lincoln Avenue in North Park, San Diego
San Diego, California (May 24, 2021) – A 64-year-old man riding an electric bicycle was seriously injured after colliding with a pickup truck in the North Park area of San Diego on Sunday evening.
The bicycle accident happened at about 4:45 p.m. May 23, on Lincoln Avenue between Hamilton and Arizona streets, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The man was riding an electric-assisted bicycle westbound on Lincoln Avenue when it crashed into the side of a 2014 GMC Sierra pickup that pulled out in front of him.

The bicyclist sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The 29-year-old man who was driving the pickup truck was uninjured.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
