1 Severely Hurt after San Bernardino Car Accident on 215 Freeway near University Parkway
San Bernardino, California (October 4, 2021) – A major injury collision that left one person with severe injuries was reported early Monday morning in San Bernardino.
According to the CHP, the accident happened at around 2:23 a.m. on northbound 215 Freeway near University Parkway.
The CHP said that two cars collided for reasons still under investigation.
Responding paramedics transported one person who suffered severe injuries to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
One of the vehicles had all airbags deployed, it also sustained front-end damage and its two front wheels were disabled. The car was towed away from the site.
The No.3 lane had an oil spill and needed to be cleaned.
Further details regarding the accident were not available.
An investigation is underway.
