Stockton, California (March 11, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that happened Friday morning in Stockton, leaving at least one person with major injuries.

The wreck involved a white Ford pickup truck and a white Toyota Camry.

The vehicles collided at around 5:40 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway to eastbound Crosstown Freeway transition. One of the cars struck a railing, and Caltrans was requested to respond and check the damage.

First responders found the vehicles blocking the fast lane near the transition ramp.

The report said at least one person sustained major injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
