Luis Vega Killed in Soledad Canyon Road Car Crash in Santa Clarita, Los Angeles
Santa Clarita, California (June 18, 2021) – 31-year-old Luis Vega, of Canyon Country, has been identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner Office as the man who was killed in a car accident in Santa Clarita on Thursday evening, June 17.
At around 5:45 p.m. the California Highway Patrol received reports of a collision on the 17600 block of Soledad Canyon Road, in front of Canyon Country Park.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.

Vega was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A second person was hospitalized in unknown condition.
A third person declined transport.
Soledad Canyon Road, between River Circle and Lost Canyon Road, was closed as the authorities examined the scene of the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
