Kolisha Mitchell-King Killed in Head-On Collision on 14 Freeway near Avenue H in Lancaster
Lancaster, California (February 15, 2022) – 34-year-old Kolisha Mitchell-King, of Inglewood, was killed in a wrong-way car crash early Monday morning in Lancaster.
The fatal crash happened at around 12:07 a.m. on the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near Avenue H.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Mitchell-King was driving a 2014 Hyundai southbound in the northbound lane when she collided head-on with an oncoming 2013 Kia.

Mitchell-King was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
The driver of the Kia, 18-year-old Aidan W. Rakisits of Rosamond, was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
A 1-year-old girl who was riding in the Hyundai was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More information about the accident was not provided.
