Kingsburg Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision at 6th Avenue and Excelsior Avenue in Hanford

Kings County, California (July 16, 2021) – A 29-year-old Kingsburg woman was killed in a car crash that left a man critically injured on Saturday afternoon in Hanford.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of 6th and Excelsior avenues around 11:30 a.m. July 10.
The driver of a 2018 Dodge Ram is reported to have run a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into a 2013 Toyota Camry.

A 29-year-old female passenger in the Toyota was killed in the crash.
27-year-old Esteban Barreto was also in the Toyota at the time of the crash and sustained critical injuries. He was transported to the Bay Area hospital and is currently on a ventilator in the ICU.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
