Bicyclist Injured in Collision on West Verano Avenue near Arnold Drive in Sonoma
Sonoma, California (June 16, 2021) – A 69-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car as she rode her bicycle on Tuesday morning in Sonoma.
The bicycle accident was reported at about 8:06 a.m. June 15, on West Verano Avenue near Arnold Drive.
Kathleen Iundice was riding a bicycle on Verano Avenue when she was hit by an eastbound 2011 Nissan Altima driven by 71-year-old Kenneth Cavalli, of Sonoma.

Iundice, who was wearing a helmet, was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to Kaiser Hospital in Santa Rosa by Sonoma Valley Fire and Rescue Authority.
The officers ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the crash.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
