William Yousef and Kara Giacone Injured in 91 Freeway Car Crash at Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim
Riverside County, California (July 7, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol has publicly identified two people who were injured in a wrong-way car crash that claimed the life of a woman people in Anaheim on Tuesday morning, July 6.
At about 1:15 a.m., an Anaheim woman was driving a 2000 Dodge pickup truck when she got onto the 91 Freeway at Harbor Boulevard and continued driving westbound in the eastbound lanes.
A short time later, she collided head-on with an eastbound 2015 Honda driven by 23-year-old William Yousef Hattar.

The unidentified woman was killed in the accident, the CHP said.
Hattar and his passenger, 8-year-old Kara Trisha Giacone, sustained major injuries in the accident and were transported to UC Irvine Medical Center for treatment.
A 2019 Mercedes-Benz was also involved in the crash. None of the occupants of the vehicle were hurt. However, a passenger in the vehicle- 39-year-old Fadal Fadssl Elijazzar – was arrested on charges unrelated to the collision.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
