Jose Rodriguez Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Harris and Old River Roads in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (March 16, 2022) – Jose Zarate Rodriguez, 58, was killed in a motorcycle accident in southwest Bakersfield on Sunday evening.
The deadly collision happened at about 8 p.m., March 13, in the area of Harris and Old River roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Bakersfield man was riding a mini-motorcycle when he was struck by a sedan.
Rodriguez was killed in the crash, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
