Man Killed in Dublin Car Crash on Interstate 680 Identified

Dublin, California (November 7, 2021) – 60-year-old John Reiman, of Dublin, died in a car crash that happened Friday morning in Dublin, a local news source reported.

Reiman was driving a Honda Civic on southbound Interstate 680, just south of Alcosta Boulevard in the No. 4 lane when, for unknown reasons, he sideswiped a big rig and lost control. The car crossed all lanes, crashed into the center divider wall, and stopped sideways in the No. 1 lane.

The driver of the semi did not notice the collision and continued driving.

Shortly after the crash, a Ford pickup truck struck the Honda.

Reiman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision happened at around 6:00 a.m. November 5.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
