John Michael Marshall Insley Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Redondo Avenue and 15th Street in Long Beach
Long Beach, California (June 17, 2021) – 34-year-old John Michael Marshall Insley has been identified as the man who died following a motorcycle accident that happened in May in Long Beach.
The deadly crash occurred at around 3:25 p.m. May 5, at Redondo Avenue and 15th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Insley was riding a Yamaha motorcycle northbound on Redondo Avenue when he collided with a Honda Accord that was being driven west on 15th Street by a 57-year-old San Diego man.
The motorcycle was then struck by a Ford Mustang operated by a 22-year-old driver from Long Beach.

Insley was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital where he died on June 6.
No one else was injured in the accident.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The officers ruled out intoxication as a factor in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
