Glendora, California (September 2, 2021) – 42-year-old Jeremy Hollings has been identified as the Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer who was injured in a collision in Glendora on Wednesday morning.

The accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. August 1, on the 210 Freeway near Grand Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Hollings was riding a 2015 LAPD BMW motorcycle to work when he collided with a Ford F-250 work truck that was traveling in the lane to his right.

The impact of the collision sent the motorcycle into the path of a Ford F-250 pickup truck that was traveling in the HOV lane.

Hollings sustained major injuries in the crash and was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for treatment.
