Jeramy Smith Killed, 3 Injured in Oakhurst Car Accident on 426 Road near High School Road
Oakhurst, California (May 10, 2022) – Jeramy Wayne Smith, 18, of Coarsegold, was killed and three other people were injured in a two-car collision in Oakhurst on Sunday night.
The fatal crash happened on 426 Road near High School Road at around 9:15 p.m. May 8, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Smith was driving a BMW when for unknown reasons, he collided with a Honda.
CHP said Smith and his 18-year-old female passenger were ejected from the vehicle following the impact of the collision.
Smith was killed in the incident, while his passenger sustained major injuries.
Two male occupants in the Honda, ages 23 and 25, suffered moderate injuries.
No additional details about the accident were provided.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
