Los Angeles, California (June 20, 2022) – Jada Taylor Gipson, 22, of Palmdale, has been identified as the woman who died in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday night in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the accident was reported at around 10:16 p.m. at the intersection of La Cienega Boulevard and Wrightcrest Drive.
Gipson was driving eastbound on La Cienega Boulevard when, for unknown reasons, she crashed into the back of another vehicle and struck a light pole splitting it into two.
Police said Gipson was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is underway.
