Isac Chavez Killed in Los Angeles Motorcycle Accident on 118 Freeway near Rocky Peak Road

Los Angeles, California (May 24, 2022) – Isac Chavez, 27, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed after his motorcycle crashed into the back of a vehicle on 118 Freeway in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 11:20 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the freeway, just east of Rocky Peak Road.
Chavez was riding a white 2008 Suzuki GXSR in the No. 1 lane at an allegedly high speed when he made an unsafe right turn and crashed into the back of a blue Toyota Tundra.
The impact of the crash ejected the rider from the motorcycle and landed in the No. 4 lane of traffic.
Chavez suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene about 20 minutes later.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
