At Least 1 Injured in Head-On Collision on Willow Pass Road near Poinsettia Avenue in Bay Point

Bay Point, California (September 11, 2021) – Injuries were reported in a traffic collision that occurred in Bay Point on Friday morning, September 10.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at about 7:35 a.m. on Willow Pass Road near Poinsettia Avenue.

The officers established that a white Ford F-150 pickup truck heading westbound on the highway and was trying to pass another vehicle when it collided head-on with a Toyota Avalon.

Both vehicles sustained major damages in the crash.

The paramedics responded to the incident and treated the injured parties.
