Gary Styles Killed, 2 Injured in Car Accident at 37th Street and Carlson Boulevard in Richmond
Richmond, California (June 25, 2021) – An Oakland man was killed in a car crash in Richmond on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal car crash happened at about 2:20 a.m. June 24, in the area of 37th Street and Carlson Boulevard.
The officers said an Audi was traveling northbound on Carson Boulevard when it t-boned an Acura sedan at the intersection.

66-year-old Gary Styles, of Oakland, was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated before being transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries.
The CHP said four people were in the Audi SUV at the time of the accident. Two people were transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
