Man Killed and Boy Seriously Injured in Sacramento Motorcycle Crash on Grant Line Road near Richert Lane
Sacramento, California (July 8, 2021) – A 68-year-old Elk Grove man was killed and an 11-year-old boy was injured in a motorcycle accident in Sacramento on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened at about 8:30 p.m. July 7, on Grant Line Road near Richert Lane.
A pickup truck was traveling on the roadway when it rear-ended a motorcycle traveling ahead of it.

The Elk Grove man was riding the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
An 11-year-old Elk Grove boy riding on the motorcycle sustained major injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The pickup truck driver was unhurt.
