Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on 15 Freeway near 8 Freeway in San Diego Identified
San Diego, California (May 25, 2021) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has disclosed the identity of a motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a car in San Diego on Thursday afternoon.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened on the northbound Interstate 15 connector ramp to westbound Interstate 8 at about 2:09 p.m. May 20.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 75-year-old Edward Rogers was riding a motorcycle on the freeway when he collided with a sedan in unclear circumstances.

The impact of the collision caused the motorcycle to crash into a guardrail.
Rogers, a resident of San Diego, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
