Accident News Team1 Airlifted after Hesperia Car Accident on Interstate 15 near Main Street
Hesperia, California (May 11, 2022) – A SUV driver suffered severe injuries early Monday after colliding with a tractor-trailer combination in Hesperia.
The collision occurred on Interstate 15 between Main Street and Bear Valley Road at around 12:10 a.m.
As per a California Highway Patrol report, a red Ford Explorer SUV and the semi collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
The SUV driver was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated by San Bernardino County Fire.
The victim had serious injuries and was flown to Antelope Valley Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the semi was not injured and remained at the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
