Napa, California (August 25, 2021) – Dominic Antonelli, 72, has been identified as the man who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Napa County on Saturday morning.
The deadly collision happened on Highway 121 near Wild Horse Valley Road at about 10:54 a.m. August 21.
The California Highway Patrol said Antonelli was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson Road King southbound on Highway 121 when he drifted into the northbound lanes for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a 2008 Ford Ranger.
Motorcyclist Killed in Highway 121 Crash in Napa Identified
Antonelli, a resident of South San Francisco, was seriously injured in the accident and was flown to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
The 43-year-old Napa man driving the truck was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
