2 Injured in Car Accident at Twentynine Palms Highway and Larrea Avenue in Twentynine Palms

Twentynine Palms, California (September 17, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in Twentynine Palms on Wednesday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 9:26 a.m. September 15, at Twentynine Palms Highway and Larrea Avenue.
52-year-old David Carlisle and his passenger, Noela Vasquez, were traveling eastbound on the highway in a green Toyota when the vehicle collided with a northbound Ford Explorer that was making a left turn onto Twentynine Palms from Larrea Avenue.

The impact of the collision caused the Toyota to crash into a curb.
Carlisle and Vasquez were trapped in the wreckage and were extricated before being transported to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The driver of the Ford Explorer, 27-year-old Victoria Pinilla, of Twentynine Palms, was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
