Dale Doebler Killed in Santa Rosa Collision on Stony Point Road
Santa Rosa, California (May 19, 2021) – Dale Doebler, 68, of Petaluma was killed in a motorcycle accident involving a truck in Santa Rosa earlier this month, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred on May 6 when a Ram truck traveling northbound on Stony Point Road tried to make a left turn near Roblar Road.
Doebler, who was riding a motorcycle on the road, tried to pass the truck and drifted across the double yellow lines.
Authorities said Doebler collided with the left side of the truck and was ejected by the impact.
Doebler was pronounced deceased at the site of the collision.
The driver of the truck, Gary Caselli, 80, of Valley Ford, remained at the scene after the collision.
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
