Clinton Tuthill and Eduardo Salinas Killed in Oakdale Car Accident on 26 Mile Road near Woodward Reservoir
Stanislaus County, California (August 1, 2022) – Two people were killed in a head-on collision near Oakdale on Friday.
According to a report by the Modesto Fire Department, the fatal crash happened on the 26 Mile Road near Woodward Reservoir.
A Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling southbound when the driver allowed the vehicle to drift across the double yellow lines and collided head-on with an F-150 pickup truck near Eastman Road.
The driver of the Ford pickup truck, Clinton T. Tuthill, 45, of Murphys, was killed in the accident.
The Tahoe driver also died in the collision. The victim was later identified as 51-year-old Oakdale resident Eduardo Salinas.
More details about the crash were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
