Carlos Serna Killed in Arvin Car Accident at Malaga Road and Sunset Boulevard
Arvin, California (September 16, 2022) – Carlos Cruz Serna, 51, of Arvin, has been identified as one of three people who died in a collision last week Friday in Arvin.
The fatal collision occurred at around 10 p.m. on Malaga Road at Sunset Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue 2017 Volvo tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on Malaga Road when it failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with a Honda.
Serna and two other people in the Honda were killed in the incident.
The other two were earlier identified as Monte Harold Johnson, 65, and Martha Alicia Flores, 48, both from Arvin.
More details about the accident were not provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
