Caltrans Driver Hospitalized with Minor Injuries after Crash in Diamond Bar
Diamond Bar, California (March 22, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car collision that happened Monday afternoon in Diamond Bar involving a Caltrans truck.
The accident sent a Caltrans driver to the hospital.
Authorities received reports of the collision at around 12:14 p.m. on westbound Highway 60 at Highway 57.
A Toyota Corolla rear-ended the Caltrans truck, leaving the Caltrans driver with minor injuries.
Paramedics responded and transported the driver to the hospital.
The Toyota was reportedly weaving in and out of lanes prior to the accident. It was not clear if the occupants of the vehicle were injured.
Investigators closed the No. 4 lane of the highway for about thirty minutes following the collision.
