Bryan Weldon Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision at University Avenue and Columbus Street
Kern County, California (June 25, 2021) – 58-year-old Bryan Weldon has been identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office as the man who was killed in a car crash in Northeast Bakersfield on Tuesday evening.
The deadly two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of University Avenue and Columbus Street at about 4:21 p.m. June 22, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles are reported to have collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

Weldon was a passenger in one of the vehicles and was transported to the hospital. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
It is unknown if anyone else was injured in the accident.
