Brian Palomares Dies After Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash on Panama Lane near Fairfax Road

Bakersfield, California (August 30, 2023) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, Brian Alejandro Martinez Palomares, 18, of  Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, died after a motorcycle collision on Saturday afternoon in Bakersfield.

The accident occurred at about 1:09 p.m. on August 28 on Panama Lane near Fairfax Road.

Palomares was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he slammed into the back of a GMC truck, slowing down for a collision that had just happened ahead.

The impact threw Palomares from the motorbike, and he was declared dead at the crash site.

Police did not suspect alcohol and drugs to have played a role in the collision.
