Austin Dennis ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Truck Brundage Lane and King Street in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (June 2, 2021) – A motorcyclist who died after being struck by a truck in Bakersfield on Saturday morning has been identified by the Kern County coroner’s office as 26-year-old Austin Ray Dennis.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened at about 11:32 a.m. at East Brundage Lane and South King Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Dennis was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he broadsided a truck.

The impact of the crash caused the truck to flip onto its side, leaving the male driver and his female passenger with minor injuries.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to the CHP.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
