Anabell Ortega and Alec Yzaguirre Dies After Cabazon Car Accident on San Bernardino (10) Freeway

Cabazon, California (November 21, 2022) – 44-year-old Anabell Ortega and 38-year-old Alec Yzaguirre, all Beaumont residents,  have been identified as the two persons killed in a Cabazon big rig accident on Saturday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on San Bernardino (10) Freeway east of Main Street at about 1:40 a.m.

Police confirmed a Lexus ES 350 crashed into a westbound semi-truck. Ortega was driving the Lexus at the time.

Ortega and her passenger Yzaguirre died in the collision.

No additional information concerning this incident was provided.

An investigation is underway.
