Aloma Waith Killed, Others Injured in Fresno Car Crash on Highway 99 near Cedar Avenue
Fresno, California (April 27, 2022) – Aloma Waith, 60, of Stockton, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning in Fresno.
The accident happened at around 3 a.m. on Highway 99 near Cedar Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Waith was driving a Dodge Stratus when she drifted into the wall on the right side of the highway. The vehicle bounced off the wall, veered across the lanes, and came to a stop in the center median.
The driver of a gray SUV stopped at the scene to help Waith, and that person’s SUV was struck by another vehicle, causing it to roll over.
The incident caused a chain reaction collision involving a total of six vehicles.
Waith was killed in the accident.
Other involved parties suffered minor to moderate injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
