Allen Glenn Sison Joson ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Highway 37 near Sonoma Creek
Sonoma, California (June 14, 2021) – The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office has disclosed the identity of a motorcyclist who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Sonoma on Wednesday, June 9.
47-year-old Allen Glenn Sison Joson was killed in the 7 p.m. crash on Highway 37 near the Richard “Fresh Air” Janson Bridge over Sonoma Creek.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Vallejo man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Highway 37 when he came upon slow traffic.
The rider slowed down and was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Express van driven by a 38-year-old Vallejo man, sending the motorcycle off the roadway and down an embankment.

The van then crashed into the back of a Hyundai Sonata and the Sonata rear-ended a Dodge pickup truck.
The impact of the crash sent the van and the Sonata down an embankment.
The paramedics landed at the scene and pronounced Sison Joson dead at the scene.
The 66-year-old female driver of the Sonata was hospitalized in unknown condition.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
