Alejandro Angeles-Pacheco Killed in Highway 46 Car Crash near Davis Road in San Luis Obispo
Paso Robles, California (August 2, 2021) – A Santa Maria man was killed in a car crash involving a suspected drunk driver in Paso Robles on Saturday night, July 31.
At about 11:50 p.m. the California Highway Patrol was notified of a car accident that happened on Highway 46 near Davis Road.
The police said 34-year-old Adan Reyes, of Paso Robles, was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram eastbound on Highway 46 when he drifted into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 41-year-old Alejandro Angeles-Pacheco, of Santa Maria.
The impact of the crash caused the Dodge to roll over onto the passenger side while the Chevrolet veered off the roadway.

Angeles-Pacheco was killed in the accident, the CHP said.
Two female passengers in the Chevy Silverado were injured in the crash.
Reyes was determined to have been driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested. He was booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
